okay. lord forgive me for i am about to go off.
people like to think they're decent human beings for posting "it costs $0.00 to be kind?? it's literally the easiest thing to do???" on their social media accounts and for what. no, seriously, what's the point? nobody will look at your post and go "awh darn i was going to bully some individual on the internet but this post says it costs $0.00 to be kind! hell yeah i'm gonna go be kind to someone now!" it does not work like that. good fucking god is it so hard to understand? nobody gives a fuck. people choose to be kind because they don't want to hurt people's feelings. now i'm not saying that kindness is bad, no, it's just that the people posting shit like that will then turn around and tell people who disagree with them to off themselves.
another thing that ties into this whole topic is when people expect actors/public figures/etc to be unproblematic and kind at all times and then try to hold them accountable like their efforts even mean anything. remember sebastian stan? he fucked up recently. i won't go into that but he fucked up real bad in people's eyes. anyway, i was scrolling through the comments of some post online, and, you know, some people had good points! valid points to be upset! but then i stumbled upon a comment that said that sebastian was supposed to be the unproblematic one. these people don't take into account that their favourite public figures don't care about their feelings and they instead only care about money. does it hurt to see your favourite public figure do something bad and not give a single flying fuck about it? yes, absolutely! but you've gotta understand: they don't give a fuck. they only care about money, nothing else.
i don't fucking understand what she did to have this many admirers. come and fucking fight me if you want but i just genuinely don't get it. if you go to r/dissolvedgirl on reddit, you'll find people saying that they feel "connected" to sol and that she even speaks to them. what, is it some mass hallucination or something? a mass hallucination on the fucking internet? how the fuck does that even work. i'm assuming that it's because of her tHoUgHtS and JoUrNaL eNtRiEs but this shit has already been done before. seriously this shit has bugged me since i found out about her 2 years ago. just-- WHY THE FUCK ARE PEOPLE SO OBSESSED WITH HER? and it's not like it's some random uwu quirky fixation that everyone has once in a while, no, it's like a full on unhealthy obsession. i want to fucking bang my bloodied forehead against the wall this shit makes me so mad, and i'm only going off of what i see in the subreddit alone because i'm not gonna go looking for scraps on other sites. i could write an entire book on this but i don't feel like doing that.
i have no problem with people whose sites are inspired by hers, but her admirers are truly something else.
SIGH. i fucking hate what twitter has become. before the tumblr pr0n ban, twitter was a good place! believe it or not! you would have to say some real offensive shit to get called out on it. no trigger warnings for things that make people only slightly upset, aside from maybe violence and gore and shit like that, or more extreme shit. everybody was having fun and it was cool and good. but now? pure brainrot. you do so much as BREATHE wrong and bam! former tumblrites come and send you death threats. everywhere i go, i see tumblr-eque shit. twitter has become a more restricted tumblr, essentially. it makes me want to rip my nails off with my own teeth. and don't even get me fucking started on typing quirks, which, yeah, came from tumblr, but as i said: twitter has become a more restricted tumblr at this point. it's apparently ableist if you can't r34d 73x7 l1k3 7h15 (read text like this) which...some people use screen readers, so typing quirks are ableist. "but we can't control them!!!!!!!" yes the fuck you can because you're making the active choice to type like that. GOOD FUCKING GOD!

first, 'reeee' jokes: apparently it's ableist because it's "making fun of the sound an autistic person was making when overstimulated". okay...? and? mind you, people who say things like this will also go back and defend typing quirks, which are just as ableist as they make the post inaccesible for people who use screen readers and who NEED to use screen readers. didn't think about that, huh?

then, we have reality checks. oh boy, reality checks. listen, if i see a person saying that they are dating their favourite content creator, you bet your sweet fucking ass that i will reality check them because THAT SHIT IS NOT NORMAL. DELUSIONS ARE NOT YOUR SAFE SPACE, THEY ARE NOT THERE FOR YOUR COMFORT, THAT IS A GENUINE CONCERN. and people will try to justify it with "i have erotomania/i have psychosis/i have a mental illness" which only proves my point that you need PROFESSIONAL HELP. i am saying this as a mentally ill person who experiences these types of symptoms. please get help. okay i may have gone a little too far with that, my bad. what i was trying to say is that you need to keep in touch with reality, but i realise that i fucked up. sorry.

BUT WHEN SOMEONE SAYS "RETARD" PEOPLE GO FUCKING RABID.
